As Efficient as a Ground Source Heat Pump

The Bosch air source heat pump is so efficient that the energy savings are comparable to ground source heat pumps. Crucially though, this is achieved without the practical and economical implications of installing a borehole.

Customisable

The Bosch air source heat pump consists of an outdoor unit and an indoor unit. The outdoor unit is available in various output sizes from 5kW to 17kW, in single phase and three phase units. The indoor unit is available with or without in-built water storage to suit your project requirements.

Patented Defrost Cycle

With the Bosch air source heat pump, the heat pump fan is speed controlled so that the defrost starts as late as possible, without compromising reliability. This means that no energy is spent on defrosting when it's five degrees outside.

Inverter-Driven

The Bosch air source heat pump is inverter-driven. This means that the low-power compressor automatically adjusts heat production for the house's heating demand. When the house needs more heat, the compressor works harder; whereas when it's warm outside the compressor ramps down to a minimum, increasing your savings.
