The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) is a government grant designed to encourage homeowners and business owners to transition from fossil fuel boilers to low-carbon heating systems, such as air source and ground source heat pumps. The BUS grant aims to make sustainable heating solutions more accessible, helping to reduce carbon emissions and promote energy efficiency.

Under the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, a grant of £7,500 is available for the installation of air source or ground source heat pumps. As an MCS accredited installer, Alto Energy will manage the entire grant application process on your behalf, ensuring a seamless experience.

The Home Energy Scotland Grant and Loan Scheme

The Home Energy Scotland Grant and Loan Scheme offers financial support to homeowners in Scotland to install eco-friendly heating systems and improve energy efficiency. This support can come as a grant, an interest-free loan, or a combination of both.

Homeowners can receive a grant of up to £7,500 to install clean heating solutions, such as heat pumps. Additionally, an optional interest-free loan of up to £7,500 is available, providing a total potential funding of £15,000.
