Update on our new training centre
Back in January we picked up the keys to our new office and warehouse building, and 5 months later we have made loads of progress. Our move-in date is now only 2 months off all being well, and we are very excited to get in there.
This building represents a significant investment in the future of our business. It is over 3 times the floor area of our current premises, with the view that we can grow with the market over the next few years. One of the key things we wanted to do with the extra space was invest in our UK Heat Pump Training Centre for plumbing and heating engineers looking to make the move into heat pumps.

By working with Alto Energy, we carry out all the design, specification, commissioning and MCS certification of the heat pumps we supply, leaving the installer to just focus on the installation.

Improved Training Facility
We are currently building vastly improved training facilities to welcome heating installers into the world of heat pumps.
The Showroom
We are purpose building a showroom that will house the heat pumps that will actually be heating the building. The office area will be heated by an Ultra Quiet Mitsubishi Ecodan air source heat pump, feeding a pre-plumbed cylinder, and in time the warehouse area will be heated by a pair of Bosch Ground Source Heat Pumps operating in cascade. Furthermore, our full range of heat pump models will be on display so that installers can get hands-on with all the equipment.
the training room
We have a separate training room where our Technical Director will host installers and go through the training slides. This is where we’ll carry out the “classroom” section of our courses. Training is something that will be offered every month to heating installers, both those looking to refresh their existing knowledge of heat pumps, and those looking to make their first moves into the heat pump market.

Increased UK Stock Holding
As well as the improved training facilities, our warehouse capacity will also be increasing substantially. We hold UK stock for IVT heat pumps and spare parts in our current warehouse, however with growing demands and lots of extra warehouse space we will be able to hold even more heat pumps in stock, meaning an even quicker turn around time when it comes to delivering products.
Room to Grow
Interest in heat pumps has increased significantly just in the past couple of years. It is clear that Government needs us all to install heat pumps for us to have any chance to meet the net zero emissions target. As such, we’ve decided to invest in the business now, so that we can lay solid foundations with business premises that we can grow in to. This will leave us well placed and ready to serve the market as it grows.
