Following the national relaxation of Covid restrictions, Alto Energy are delighted to announce that our heat pump training centre is back open and ready to host live training courses!
The training centre is open to heating and plumbing engineers wanting to expand into the heat pump market. On our FREE Heat Pump Installation Training you’ll find out everything you need to know to install heat pumps, and how the Alto Energy MCS Umbrella Scheme enables you to start offering heat pumps to your customers right away.
Heat Pump Training
If you are a heating or plumbing engineer wanting to expand and gain the knowledge to start installing heat pumps, and without the hassle of MCS, then look no further than Alto Energy’s ‘Introduction to Installing Heat Pumps’ training course. We cover both ground source and air source heat pumps in the course, offering a hands on experience along the way. The course is run by our Technical Director, Dave Webb, who knows heat pumps inside out. You can view our heat pump training and book onto a course on our dedicated heat pump training page.
MCS Umbrella
Attending the heat pump training is your first step towards becoming an Alto Energy Approved Install Partner. The next step is to then install a heat pump through the Alto Energy MCS Umbrella Scheme. Combining the heat pump training with the MCS umbrella gives you everything you need to start offering fully MCS accredited heat pumps to your customers right away. Our MCS umbrella takes care of all of the design, supply, commissioning and paperwork side of things, while you carry out the physical install. We will design the unit to the latest MCS regulations, supply the unit complete with underfloor heating and radiator sizing, and once the heat pump is installed, we will send one of our engineers to come and commission the unit to make sure everything meets MCS standards. We also take care of all the MCS paperwork along the way and raise a complete handover pack for your customer, being on hand should they have any queries regarding government grant or aftercare.
If you are a Developer, Self Builder, or Homeowner looking to install a heat pump for your project, you can also make your installer aware of the course too, ready for your project. If you do not have an installer lined up, then we can always recommend an installer through our Approved Installer network.
