We are delighted to announce that Alto Energy is now a registered installer under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme ("MCS") for both ground source heat pumps and air source heat pumps. This ensures that our installation partners and their customers have access to all of the benefits of MCS.
MCS is a nationally recognised quality assurance scheme for heat pumps, and is also a minimum requirement for heat pump projects looking to attract funding under the Government's Renewable Heat Incentive ("RHI"). Obtaining MCS certification means that our customers can rest assured that each project will be design, delivered and supported by qualified and competent professionals.
In addition to that we are also registered under NICEIC's competent persons scheme ("CPS"). This means that we are capable of providing Building Control certificates for the installations of ground source heat pumps and air source heat pumps.
MCS accreditation is no easy thing! There are a great deal of checks and processes in place to ensure that the end product of each heat pump installation is correctly designed and properly installed. The reason we decided to make the effort and obtain the accreditation is to enable us to be able to provide access to MCS for our installation partners. We take responsibility for the design and specification of the heat pump, as well as providing commissioning and MCS registration services.
